You Are Not A Number Here

You do not have to work with someone who brings to mind the stereotype of a used car salesman. You do not have to be known as a file or even as a case number. You do not have to hand your case over to a huge law firm that advertises only one or two attorneys, but in fact, sends your case off to a relatively new attorney every few months as staff comes and goes.

You can work with someone you specifically chose and trust. You can get justice, working with an attorney who is more interested in getting you fair compensation than using you in a commercial.

You will not see Attorney Vernon Ready rappelling from a helicopter onto a crash site during daytime television. You will see Mr. Ready in courtrooms, at the negotiating table, and more importantly, you will see him when you come to our office to discuss your case. Your case will not be handed off to some first-year associate with little or no actual experience in front of a jury. If you choose Ready Law, you choose to work with Attorney Vernon Ready from start to finish. Read on to learn about some reasons you might want to do exactly that.

If you have been seriously injured, that injury is impacting your life. You may not want to sue. You probably wish you did not have to sue to get fair compensation. However, the medical bills are unavoidable, as is the suffering you experience every day. Attorney Ready understands that. Sometimes we do not have to file a lawsuit to get you full and fair compensation. Often, our thorough and meticulous investigation, followed by a persuasive demand letter and direct negotiation with insurance adjusters persuades the insurance company to offer full and fair compensation.

However, no amount of negotiating will be truly effective if the insurance company does not believe there is any threat of your case actually going to trial. This is where the law firm you choose can make a significant difference. Ready Law is ready and willing to take every one of our cases to trial should that become necessary. We evaluate each case for likelihood of success at trial before we agree to take it on. We do not hesitate to go to trial where a trial is more likely to get a client their best outcome. Many injury attorneys simply do not feel that going to trial fits their business model. Every demand letter they send is essentially a bluff. At Ready Law, we believe that approach cheats the injured person who comes to a lawyer seeking justice, and in fact cheats all the firm’s clients, as insurance companies will know they have less to worry about from a firm that always settles without actually filing a lawsuit.

Depending on your specific injury and its impact on your daily life, you may feel much more than physical pain. You may experience anger, frustration, embarrassment, or even fear, as you cope with not being able to wash your hair without pain, not being able to sit at a desk at work for long periods, no longer being able to go on hikes or work out the way you used to.

Adding to this personal trauma is the impersonal way that you may be treated by the insurance company. Do not make the mistake of accepting impersonal treatment by your own lawyer. Choose your lawyer, not just your law firm. Choose an attorney you feel you can talk to, and who cares about you as a person.

Attorney Vernon Ready is selective about cases the firm accepts, and he encourages potential clients to be selective about attorneys they are willing to trust and work with. At Ready Law, we deliberately work with a limited caseload because we believe in the value of personal attention. Taking fewer clients means we can dedicate more time to every single one of them. It means our clients are not just files tucked away in drawers, but people who are going through a tough situation. We help people who need help, and we make sure they feel like people.

Ready Law is in the business of helping people, but we can only do that if you open the door by reaching out and contacting us.

Why You Should Choose Greenwood Village Injury Attorney Vernon Ready

Finding a lawyer is easy. Finding the best lawyer for you and for your case may not be as simple as making one call. It helps to think about what you might be looking for – both in terms of legal acumen and interpersonal skills.

Why do so many people decide to hire Vernon Ready?

Depth and breadth of knowledge.

Mr. Ready is not just a car accident lawyer. Nor does he focus solely on wrongful death cases. He possesses an in-depth knowledge of the laws pertaining to both of those types of cases, but he is also well-versed in Colorado injury law in general. Over the course of his career, he has handled a very broad range of lawsuits and even divorces and criminal cases. That means Attorney Ready is no stranger to courtrooms and standing in front of both judges and juries. As a result, Ready Law is not a settlement mill closing out cases in huge volumes without ever actually litigating a case. Attorney Vernon Ready has made a career of being in court and has appeared in courtrooms all over the state of Colorado, on a wide range of issues and for a very diverse group of clients. If you think your case might benefit from someone who can think about what makes your case unique, rather than someone who does the same thing on every case, consider talking to Attorney Vernon Ready. His approach to bringing together deep legal knowledge and a variety of courtroom experiences can help you reach your best possible outcome.

Experience.

Before starting Ready Law, Vernon Ready worked with the Colorado 4th Judicial District in Colorado Springs and in the Arapahoe Branch of the Colorado Public Defender’s office. There, he managed his own trial-bound caseload and was able to participate in extensive trial advocacy training. Vernon Ready subsequently worked for a law firm specializing in litigating injury cases among others. At Ready Law, Vernon Ready has successfully represented clients in injury cases as well as criminal, divorce, and even probate matters. This wide range of experience not only means Mr. Ready has a solid knowledge of court procedures, but it demonstrates that he knows how to get good results on cases with very different facts and circumstances.

Attorney Vern Ready has coached mock trial teams for a local high school and has judged trial advocacy competitions at the high school, college, and law school levels. Mr. Ready enjoys developing trial advocacy skills and talents in others and believes doing so helps improve his own skills along the way. By teaching others everything from arguing motions, evidentiary objections, cross-examination techniques, and how to deliver more powerful and effective closing arguments, Attorney Vernon Ready benefits his own clients.

It is rare that any two cases, even two similar auto accident cases, are exactly alike. Vernon Ready’s broad range of interests and experiences mean your case will get the individual attention and unique strategy you would want from any lawyer. You are not just a number here, and we never assume we have seen a case just like yours before.

Exceptional communication.

One of the worst things people say they experience while recovering from a serious injury and trying to obtain full and fair compensation is a lack of communication with their attorney about their case. To some extent, this can be explained by a person choosing a large law firm that shuffles their case around from attorney to attorney. That person chose a law firm but was not given the opportunity to choose the lawyer he or she would actually end up working with. Sometimes these people feel that things just happen, and they do not really understand what is happening in their case or what they can do.

Vernon Ready works hard to combat this feeling by communicating with his clients every step of the way. When you first meet with him, he will sit down with you, not just to go over the facts of your case, but to explain your options, and how the process of obtaining full compensation works, step by step. He also uses an electronic tracking system for all cases to make it easier to keep things organized and to keep clients informed between in-person meetings about developments in their case.

Lastly, Vernon Ready is responsive. If he cannot answer when you call, he will call back by the end of the next business day, at the latest.

Determined and passionate.

Many law firms in and around Castle Rock, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Littleton, and Parker judge the success of their attorneys by monitoring the total number of hours billed or case files resolved. If a lawyer only sees you as a number, how much effort do you think he or she is likely to put into helping you to get a positive outcome? How prepared will that lawyer be to talk with an insurance adjuster about the true impact your injury has had on your life?

This is something that you never have to worry about with Mr. Ready. Vernon Ready answers to his clients, not to some board of partners at a large, numbers-focused law firm. He is passionate in his belief that everyone deserves to have the strongest representation possible, and that is exactly what he is determined to give to every one of his clients. From the moment he takes your case, Vernon Ready will use his knowledge and skill to fight for you. He is not intimidated by large insurance companies because he knows his way around a courtroom. Attorney Vernon Ready does not have to rely on bluffs, and neither should you.
